THE ROLE
This role undertakes a broad range of business administration, coordination, and analytical activities, contributing to business plans, budgets, and processes that support the national growth and development of the business.
Strategic and Business Planning Support
- Provide high‑level support to the General Manager and senior leadership team, ensuring decision‑making is informed by accurate, timely, and relevant information.
- Lead and facilitate the coordination, monitoring, and maintenance of business planning processes, ensuring alignment with DDR’s strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Assist with strategic planning activities, including maintaining oversight of current strategies, initiatives and pursuits.
- Support the development of robust business cases, acquisition proposals, and partnership opportunities through coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
Business Performance, Processes and Reporting
- Establish and enhance processes that support business performance analysis, visibility of key metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Collate, prepare, and coordinate high‑quality presentations and reporting materials for the DDR Board and senior leadership stakeholders.
- Gather, analyse, and communicate business performance information to assist in the development of improved internal processes that support national business growth.
Operational and Shared Business Services Project Coordination
- Provide operational support to bring business plans to life, working collaboratively with project, commercial, and shared services teams.
- Support a wide range of business activities including projects, shared business services, operational matters, and national initiatives.
- Assist with business development initiatives and liaise with the Marketing Team on marketing, merchandise, sponsorships, and event activity to ensure alignment with DDR’s business plan.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster productive internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure the flow of accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, senior leaders, and corporate shared services on national business initiatives, contributing to DDR’s brand, capability promotion, and national presence.
- Support DDR’s commitment to its Vision, Mission, and Values, contributing to the success of DDR as an Aboriginal Contracting and Project Management business that makes a meaningful difference to Aboriginal people.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit someone who has been in any of the following roles in Medium-Large Business;
- Executive Assistant
- Business Services Manager
- Corporate Services Officer/Manager
You will have previous experience working with;
- Leadership teams
- Community engagements, sponsorships etc
- Business financials
- Project delivery including project kick-off, budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management etc.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of finance and commercial control.
- Leadership skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office)
- Interpret information and enable clear communication of that information to a wide variety of stakeholders.
