• NT region Defence building and infrastructure upgrade projects

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage a wide variety of Defence projects including utilities and infrastructure upgrades, building refurbishments and new build projects. From a site perspective, you will be involved in:

• Site Management of the project from set up to completion
• Ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements
• Ensuring effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting to the Project Management
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in a Site Manager role with construction main contractors
• Tertiary or trade qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering
• Defence project experience highly regarded
• Leadership qualities with a proven ability to develop employees and build strong successful teams
• Flexible to travel as required between sites across Southern QLD
• Cert IV in OHS is advantageous
• Current Driving Licence 
• A police clearance that is within 12 months (or a willingness to obtain one – which we will pay for if you are successful!)
