The DDR Australia business has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects, within Western Australia and Nationally. Lead and contribute to civil infrastructure works with the DDR portfolio.

THE ROLE

• Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of projects, for various clients.
• Plan and coordinate of works, equipment and personnel
• Procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Drive HSEQ and HSEQ compliance
• Manage RFI’s, ITP’s and Quality documentation
• Prepare and submit progress claims
• Assist in cost reporting
• Monitor project costs
• Coordinate direct labour workforce and sub-contractors
• Program and scheduling works
• Quantity take offs
• Prepare tender submissions
• Undertake site inspection to ensure works are completed according to specification

ABOUT YOU

As a majority owned Aboriginal business this role will require an individual with a high level of cultural awareness and commitment to the businesses vision, mission and values.

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Previous exposure to construction sector projects
• Experience in tendering and managing blue collar workers
• Project engineering and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Civil Engineering or similar discipline
• Ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Ability to self-manage own workload while working well in a team
• Proven problem-solving ability and can ‘think outside the box’
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
• A police clearance
